Metal Framing Jobs in Alaska (NOW HIRING)

Summary Plans and erects metal framing to create walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions to attach finish substrate in commercial and industrial buildings by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Rolls out power cords and checks out tools and equipment needed for daily tasks
• Inventories materials, tools and equipment at the beginning and end of shift
• Occasionally lays out for walls, ceilings and soffits
• Measures, cuts, assembles and installs metal framing plumb & square
• Builds walls, Ceilings and Soffits using various size and gauge metal studs and mechanical fasteners
• Cleans up and stocks materials as required
• Must have knowledge of industrial standards

Education and/or ExperienceMust have own tools for chosen trade as per attached list; Must have knowledge and certification to use saws, screw guns, lasers, and powder actuated tools; Must have knowledge of setting up and breaking down scaffolding.

Safety glasses and ear plugs are required to be worn on the job site at all times.
