Job description

We are currently seeking a Metal Stud Carpenters for Miami, FL area building interior and exterior wall frameworks, ceilings, and partitions using lightweight steel studs instead of wood. Key duties include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting metal tracks, and fastening assemblies.

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications.
  • Perform precise layouts using laser levels, chalk lines, and tape measures.
  • Measure and cut metal studs, tracks, and channels to required sizes.
  • Assemble and screw vertical and horizontal metal framing members together.
  • Build and set door frames, window openings, and furring.
  • Hang and fasten drywall boards or panels onto the metal framing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 to 5 years of commercial or residential metal framing experience.
  • Install metal studs for drywalls with levels
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
  • Have own tools
  • Must have reliable transpotation
