Meta Qa information

What is a Meta QA?

Meta QA professionals are quality assurance specialists who focus on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of metadata in digital systems or products. Their responsibilities include validating metadata structures, verifying data consistency, and testing metadata integration with various applications. Meta QA roles are essential in environments where metadata plays a key role, such as content management systems, digital libraries, and large-scale databases. They collaborate with developers, data architects, and content managers to ensure that metadata standards and protocols are properly implemented.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Meta QA?

To thrive as a QA Analyst at Meta, you need a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, attention to detail, and a relevant degree such as computer science or information technology. Familiarity with test automation tools (like Selenium or Appium), bug tracking systems (such as JIRA), and scripting languages is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure the delivery of high-quality products by identifying issues early, streamlining development, and enhancing user experience.

What are common challenges faced by a Meta QA, and how can applicants prepare for them?

QA Engineers at Meta often work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams where rapid changes and new feature rollouts are frequent. One of the main challenges is keeping up with evolving technologies and ensuring test coverage for complex, large-scale systems. To prepare, applicants should be comfortable with automation tools, adaptable to shifting priorities, and proactive in communicating with developers and product managers. Emphasizing experience in automated testing and collaborative problem-solving will help applicants stand out.

Job description

Leadhub is a digital marketing agency focused on growing home service and trades businesses. We're looking for a PPC Specialist who wants to spend their day inside the platforms: Google Ads, Meta, and Microsoft Ads, managing and maintaining campaigns across a portfolio of clients. This is a technical execution role. You won't be presenting to clients or setting high-level strategy. You'll be the person who makes sure the campaigns are built right, running right, and backed by accurate data. If you do your best work when you have clear processes, defined accounts to own, and room to get things exactly right, this role is built for that.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Maintain strong campaign performance across assigned client accounts, including ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rate targets
  • Complete campaign builds, optimizations, and audits accurately and on schedule
  • Deliver clean, accurate performance reports to the Media team on time
  • Maintain budget pacing accuracy across all assigned accounts
  • Flag performance issues early and escalate with supporting data

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day campaign maintenance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Microsoft Ads for a portfolio of home service clients
  • Monitors campaign performance daily, identifies issues, and implements optimizations within established processes and guidelines
  • Conducts keyword research, negative keyword maintenance, audience refinement, and bid adjustments to keep campaigns performing within target ranges
  • Builds and QAs new campaigns and ad sets according to Leadhub's account structure standards. Accuracy at build is non-negotiable
  • Tracks and manages budget pacing across all assigned accounts, flagging variances to the Media Director before they become problems
  • Pulls and prepares performance reports for account executives to present to clients. Data needs to be clean, accurate, and ready to use
  • Partners with the creative team on ad copy and landing page needs, providing platform-specific guidance on specs and requirements
  • Documents campaign changes, tests, and performance notes consistently so account history is always current and accessible
  • Monitors Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and analytics configurations to ensure data integrity across accounts
  • Stays current on platform updates, policy changes, and feature releases that affect campaign management across Google, Meta, and Microsoft
  • Uses AI and automation tools (Smart Bidding, Performance Max, automated rules) within defined parameters to support campaign efficiency. Knowing what the platforms are actually doing matters more than letting automation run unchecked
  • Uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to support daily work including drafting ad copy variations, summarizing performance data, researching industry trends, and identifying optimization opportunities. AI is a tool, not a shortcut, and output always gets reviewed before use
  • Stays current on how AI is changing paid media, including smart bidding behavior, automated asset generation, and audience signal changes, so account decisions are informed by what the platforms are actually doing
  • Escalates strategic questions, budget decisions, and performance anomalies to the Media Director with supporting data and a clear description of the issue

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of hands-on experience managing paid campaigns inside Google Ads and Meta Ads, not just overseeing them
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft Ads
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setup and QA
  • Strong understanding of paid media performance metrics: ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPM, Conv. Rate, impression share
  • Experience managing monthly budgets of $10K+ across multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • High attention to detail. You catch your own mistakes before anyone else does
  • Comfortable working within established processes and account structures. You follow the system and flag it when the system needs updating
  • Able to manage a high volume of accounts without losing accuracy. You build time into your day for the work that needs to get done right
  • Actively uses AI tools in your day-to-day work and understands where they help and where they need to be checked
  • Google Ads certification required or in progress. Meta Blueprint certification a plus
  • Experience in home services, trades, or local service advertising a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Health benefits and 401K
  • Flexible work environment: in-office, remote, or hybrid
  • A defined role with clear processes, real account ownership, and a team that values getting it right over moving fast
  • Room to grow your technical expertise.
