Data Modeler
Reston, VA (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 2 years
* Role overview: The data modeler will support multiple scrum teams by modeling fields for new events, working closely with product owners and the enterprise data governance team to ensure proper naming and enumeration standards.
* Technical skills required: Candidates should be well-versed in both relational and dimensional modeling, with experience in AWS environments, specifically RDS and Redshift, and handling data migration projects involving interfaces and event loading.
* Data formats and tools: The team primarily works with JSON data received from upstream systems, and ER Studio is the essential tool for data modeling across the enterprise. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is expected for documentation and presentations.
