Job description

Meta's Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) team is responsible for securing and delivering the critical equipment that powers Meta's global data center portfolios. We are seeking a Capacity Delivery Lead to serve as the site-facing supply chain representative ensuring on-time delivery of data center capacity. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Data Center Engineering & Construction (DEC), General Contractors, and internal supply chain teams to proactively manage, escalate, and resolve OFE (Owner Furnished Equipment) and connectivity delivery issues across a regional portfolio of hyperscale data center construction projects. This role requires up to 40% travel to data center construction sites within your regional portfolio.
Capacity Delivery Lead Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure provision-ready (PR) capacity is not impacted by equipment production or delivery delays across power, cooling, and connectivity infrastructure
  • Act as the primary ISCE escalation point for DEC Delivery and General Contractor teams on OFE equipment production and delivery issues at site level
  • Prioritize equipment delivery as required by the business to meet capacity demands for a DC product or site, coordinating with internal central supply chain teams for factory and corporate-level escalations
  • Manage, triage, and report delivery risks to business leadership, elevating issues and proposing solutions to protect critical capacity milestones
  • Coordinate and support initial OFE kick-off meetings at site level with General Contractor and internal Meta construction teams, ensuring appropriate points of contact and delivery expectations are established, and serve as an ongoing escalation point for site teams and vendors as needed
  • Represent ISCE during preconstruction phases for early engagement with DEC Delivery, General Contractors, and external partners to identify risks and influence schedule optimization
  • Drive proactive and reactive risk management and coordination across OFE and connectivity equipment delivery, including supporting custom solutioning to mitigate delays
  • Establish and lead Capacity Delivery Reviews, providing converged supply chain delivery visibility (OFCI + Connectivity) by DC type for cross-functional leadership
  • Partner with the internal central supply chain team on factory/corporate-level escalations, bridging site-level intelligence with enterprise-wide resolution strategies
  • Understand and influence end-to-end schedules (break-ground to provision-ready) and milestones for DC products, with a focus on programmatic optimization of OFCI and connectivity equipment timelines
  • Hold General Contractor OFCI teams accountable for delivery performance and manage CCAM response processes, engaging internal ISCE partners as required
  • Highlight systemic issues, recommend process improvements, and institute change for the organization to continuously improve delivery outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in construction management, supply chain delivery, or infrastructure program management within large-scale construction environments
  • Experience with power, cooling, or connectivity equipment supporting infrastructure construction (e.g., transformers, switchgear, generators, chillers, busway, fiber/cabling systems)
  • Experience managing cross-functional escalations and coordinating across multiple stakeholders including construction teams, suppliers, and internal partners
  • Experience in risk identification, triage, and resolution in fast-paced, schedule-driven delivery environments
  • Experience communicating complex delivery issues and translating them into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership (e.g., executive briefings, risk reports, status updates)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Familiarity with OFCI processes, construction scheduling, and equipment commissioning workflows
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience supporting 10+ concurrent construction projects across a regional portfolio
  • Technical understanding of DC product power distribution, cooling systems, and connectivity design
  • Experience in hyperscale data center construction or mission-critical infrastructure delivery programs
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., delivery tracking, risk reporting, coordination efficiency)
  • Track record of developing creative solutions to unblock delivery challenges in unpredictable environments
  • Experience partnering with sourcing, engineering, and construction teams to align equipment supply with construction milestones
