• Design resilient network topologies (VPC/VNet peering, PrivateLink/Private Endpoints, routing, DNS, WAF, CDN) and troubleshoot connectivity/perf issues.
• Coach engineers, perform design reviews, and document patterns, runbooks, and reference architectures.
• Participate in a reasonable, rotating on‑call schedule for critical platform services.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience engineering and operating production cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Strong IaC expertise (Terraform preferred) and modern Git-based workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (CIDR, routing, NAT, DNS, load balancing, TLS).
• Practical security know‑how: IAM, KMS/secrets, image signing, vulnerability scanning, policy/guardrails.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating platform operations.

• Service Mesh/Zero Trust (Istio, Linkerd, mTLS), API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
• Database platform knowledge (managed SQL/NoSQL), data protection, and backup/restore strategies.
• Compliance familiarity (SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001) and evidence-based controls.
• FinOps tools and practices (budgets, tagging strategy, cost reporting).
