Job description

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for laying and finishing poured concrete for residential, or commercial properties for projects involving, but not limited to walls or flatwork.
Essential Job Requirements:
  • Follow all safety guidelines, and promote a safe work environment for self and crew.
  • Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
  • Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use.
  • Install and tie rebar and wire mesh.
  • Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures.
  • Assist to align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation.
  • Use walk behind and ride-on power screeds; work with laser screeds
  • Advanced at working with concrete in its physical form and understanding how it works in different settings.
  • Clean and organize site to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Keep job site, trucks, and equipment clean.
  • Report any issues including the malfunction of equipment or vehicles immediately to foreman
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Use of various construction tools including but not limited to: saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware.
  • Ability to follow directives.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing factors.
