Job Description Mid Level MERN stack developer needed for our client's growing team, based in Livingston, NJ This position is onsite 3x a week and will include an IN PERSON INTERVIEW. Must be local C2C or W2 hourly. Long term contract.

Our Fintech client is seeking a strong, backend-focused MERN Engineer with deep experience in Node.js. This role is heavily emphasizing APIs, serverless architecture, and cloud-native services. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs supporting high-volume client integrations

Develop backend services using Node.js and Python, with a strong focus on performance, security, and reliability. Build and support AWS serverless solutions, including: Lambda functions Step Functions for workflow orchestration and service coordination Contribute to a platform that enables self-service API access for hundreds of external consumers. Work independently to deliver features end-to-end in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Collaborate across teams and participate in cross-training initiatives to broaden technical expertise. Support and contribute to Generative AI initiatives, tools, or integrations as part of ongoing platform evolution. Qualifications: 7+ years of backend development experience, Node.js development, including strong experience in MongoDB

Expertise in API development Knowledge of Python, and strong object-oriented design SQL and NoSQL data stores Hands-on experience with the MERN stack, with a clear preference for backend-heavy development. Solid hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures. Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver consistently in a high-velocity environment.
