Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join our well-established practice. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with more than 36,000 employees and over 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Southeastern United States.

Ochsner Rush is a 215-bed hospital; a 49 bed LTAC hospital; 5 critical access hospitals, and over 30 clinics located throughout East Central MS and West AL.

A new physician would be joining a well-established, trained in robotics Urologist and 2 Urology APPs. We have two da Vinci Robots (XI and SI).

What we have to offer:

  • Large 8 county referral network with a patient service area of over 350,000.
  • Urology Clinic is located in a building adjacent to the hospital and OR. Flexible schedule M-F with clinic and OR.
  • New procedures recently added including Navigated Prostate Biopsy (Invivo), Blue Light for identification and treatment of Bladder Cancer and Urolift for BPH.
  • Ability to do Urodynamics.
  • Call: 10 days a month (only 3 days will be on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.)
  • Block time available for surgeons.
  • Adult Hospitalist program has been here for 20 years.
  • All new or upgraded equipment including cysto table, laser, scopes, camera & video system.
  • Teaching opportunities for local family medicine residency program.
