Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and outcomes-driven leader to join our company's Digital Human Health (DHH) organization and play an active role in our company's Human Health transformation journey to become the premier "Data First" commercial biopharma organization. In this Associate Director, Digital Content Data Product Management role, you will be part of the DHH Emerging Business Solutions team and will lead the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and adoption of digital content data products that enable data-driven decision-making across our Company's commercial digital marketing organization and global stakeholder community. As a subject-matter expert in commercial digital content data, you will apply techno-functional expertise to shape and execute scalable data products, drive a portfolio of high-value digital content data initiatives, and partner with business, technology, analytics, governance, and delivery teams to enable priority use cases across the DHH portfolio. You will also lead and coach a team of talented product and delivery professionals, providing thought leadership, guidance, and accountability to drive measurable business outcomes.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Define and own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for digital content data products in alignment with commercial digital marketing priorities.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle for digital content data products, including opportunity identification, use case discovery, business value definition, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with global, regional, and market stakeholders to identify and enable high-value use cases across content planning, creation, tagging, approval, distribution, reuse, engagement, and performance measurement.
  • Translate business needs and use cases into clear product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, implementation plans, and analytics-ready data product requirements.
  • Establish standards for content data quality, metadata, taxonomy, lineage, stewardship, and governance to improve trust, consistency, and usability of digital content data assets.
  • Shape domain-level analytics-ready datasets and reusable data capabilities that support reporting, advanced analytics, personalization, content effectiveness, next-best-action, and AI-ready use cases.
  • Drive large-scale, multi-country rollout of digital content data products in partnership with cross-divisional, regional, market, technology, analytics, and governance stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of digital content data initiatives, including strategic planning, value tracking, roadmap evolution, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
  • Apply Agile product delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, iterative delivery, and incorporation of user feedback to continuously adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners and internal delivery teams to shape staffing strategy, ensure high-quality deliverables, and optimize return on investment for domain programs.
  • Lead, coach, and role model inclusive leadership behaviors, including strategic thinking, active listening, clear decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability for outcomes.
Education:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or related field (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, etc.)
Required:
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated expertise in data product management, data and analytics solutions, and commercial digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data products from strategy through roadmap definition, delivery, adoption, value measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of digital content and marketing data in the commercial biopharma or life sciences space, including content metadata, taxonomy, tagging, channel engagement, and performance measurement.
  • Experience partnering with business, technology, data engineering, analytics, data governance, and vendor teams to deliver scalable, trusted, and analytics-ready data products.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern data and analytics tools, data architecture concepts, data integration patterns, and product delivery practices.
  • Experience working in Agile product delivery models, including backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, iterative delivery, and user feedback incorporation.
  • Experience managing portfolios of initiatives, tracking business value and performance, and proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to navigate complex teams, competing priorities, and highly matrixed global environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to drive clarity, accountability, and execution across multiple teams and initiatives.
Preferred:
  • Experience with digital asset management, content management, marketing automation, CRM, web analytics, media, omnichannel, or campaign execution platforms.
  • Analytics experience in commercial digital content insights generation, content effectiveness measurement, customer engagement analytics, or omnichannel performance analytics in the biopharma industry.
  • Experience enabling AI, personalization, content recommendation, next-best-action, or advanced analytics use cases using commercial digital content data.
  • Experience leading global or multi-market data product rollouts in a regulated industry or large enterprise environment.

The salary range for this role is $142,400.00 - $224,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
