About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Retail Field Rep (Merchandizer) to support a portfolio of products within the building materials / home improvement category.
This is a flexible, part-time role focused on maintaining strong in-store execution and supporting relationships across a small number of major retail locations.
Job Type: Part-Time (8–16 hours per week); temp to hire

Pay: $27-35/hour (depending on experience)
Mileage/Cell Phone: Reimbursable (driver’s license and car required for business travel)

Location: Oahu; outer Island travel required (Big Island (Kona/Hilo), Kaui, Maui)
Key Responsibilities
• Visit assigned retail stores across Hawaii (Home Depot) on a regular schedule (1–2 days per week). Some stores are located on outer islands. Funded travel to these stores will be provided.
• Build and maintain relationships with department managers and store staff
• Ensure products are well-stocked, correctly merchandised, and clearly displayed
• Set up and maintain point-of-sale (POS) materials
• Provide basic product knowledge support to store teams
• Identify and report stock issues, opportunities, and competitor activity
• Take and submit photo reports following store visits
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in retail merchandising, field sales, or territory management
• Experience working with big-box retail environments (home improvement experience highly regarded)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Highly organized and reliable
• Must be based on Oahu with access to a vehicle
