Job description

FC Tulsa is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our game day team as a Matchday Merchandise Associate. This role is perfect for energetic, outgoing individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional fan experiences. Matchday Merchandise Associates are responsible for providing top-notch customer service, operating point-of-sale systems, and assisting with merchandise setup, sales, and inventory during home games.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and engage fans in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including credit cards and mobile payments.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing merchandise area, including restocking items as needed.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of retail locations before and after games.
  • Stay informed about current merchandise offerings, promotions, and pricing to assist customers effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring fan satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow merchandise staff and Merchandise Director to ensure smooth game day operations.

Qualifications:
  • Prior retail, customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling transactions accurately.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the game schedule.
