Job description

Description: Retail Merchandising Associate

Position Overview:

The Chicago Bulls Retail Associate role will support the team’s efforts related to merchandise sourcing, procurement, and analysis for the Chicago Bulls merchandise at the United Center.


This role will participate in the Bulls Rookie Program and is scheduled to start in September 2026 and continue until the conclusion of the 26-27 season.


Responsibilities:

The team's Retail Associate will be involved in a broad range of retail operations tasks that support our strategic priorities and fan experience. Responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate and complete retail tasks involving a high degree of collaboration with other internal departments such as Marketing, Creative Services, and Digital.
  • Assists in executing style creation, order creation and issuing purchase orders to vendors
  • Communicate and follow up with vendors on order tracking
  • Maintain on-hand inventory analysis of owned department, class, subclass and location.
  • Build relationships, collaborate and participate in periodic team meetings involving Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, United Center, and Levy/Rank & Rally staff and vendors regarding retail operation matters that require collaboration among the parties on the premises.
  • Other duties as will be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, or other similar fields of study.
  • Prior internships or entry-level retail experience, preferably with some exposure to buying/merchandising.
  • Strong analysis, communication and organizational skills.
  • Adept at balancing a number of contending priorities, including the ability to quickly prioritize and meet a variety of deadlines.
  • Technologically-savvy, with experience in the Microsoft Office and Adobe produce suites.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

This role pays $20/hour and is eligible to earn overtime pay. The Chicago Bulls offer a relocation stipend for any candidates making a move to the state of Illinois.
