AS A MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
  1. Coaching, training, and retaining talent
  2. Championing our credit and loyalty programs. Ensure your team caninform, educate, and promote the benefits and offerings that reward our guest and enhance their shopping experience
  3. Executing store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
  4. Utilizing business reports to guide decisions and deliver high standards and results
  5. Understanding and usage of company standard software, systems, and procedures
  6. Inspiring and motivating a team through company recognition programs
  7. Creating a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates
  8. Performs other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  2. 1-2 years minimum of supervisory experience preferred
  3. Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Works well both independently and within a team environment
  5. Strong problem-solving skills
  6. Utilization of Zebra PDA, POS Systems, Microsoft Office Programs, and Payroll/Scheduling Software
  7. Work varying hours and schedules to include mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  1. Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
  2. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 20 pounds
