Description:
Our Merchandising team has an opening for a full-time position in our Western Massachusetts market as a Merchandiser. The Merchandiser role at M.S. Walker offers an ideal opportunity for anyone with retail experience who is interested in learning the wine and spirts industry, while getting excellent exposure to sales, operations and client relationship management. If you're a strong communicator, have incredible work ethic, and would rather be moving than sitting behind a desk - this might be the job for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Regularly travel to meet with list of accounts in territory to determine possible and/or scheduled merchandising needs
  • Meet delivery trucks of customer accounts to assist in unloading of the product
  • Stock shelves with received M.S Walker products
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
  • Place proper point of sale materials on merchandise items in-store
  • Originate display ideas or follow suggestions or schedule of Merchandising Manager
  • Construct or assemble prefabricated display properties from wood, fabric, glass, paper, and plastic
  • Report to management regarding inventory levels, marketing and sales trends, and customer feedback
  • Other duties as assigned
