Job description

Kellogg Garden Products, a family-owned and operated company with roots that span over four generations is seeking seasonal Merchandiser. 

In this role you will:

  • Service product home locations, building and stocking displays, and cleaning products
  • Manage inventories, meeting with store management, and helping to answer general gardening questions for store personnel and consumers
  • Work in an assigned Home Depot stores during peak selling seasons
  • Assist customers with their soil selection
  • Promote Kellogg branded products

 Job Requirements:

  • Outdoor work environment
  • Ability to proactively and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more consistently
  • Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proof of car insurance
  • Clean driving record

 Employment/Schedule/Hours:   

  • Seasonal (February-June)
  • Weekdays (Monday-Friday)
  • 30+ Hours

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience
  • Garden experience is preferred but not required
