Position Overview

The Sales Associate/Teammate is responsible for supporting daily store operations by managing inventory, fulfilling customer orders, maintaining merchandise standards, and assisting with customer service needs. This role plays a key part in ensuring the store remains organized, efficient, and ready to provide an exceptional experience for athletes. The position works closely with store leadership, sales floor associates, and operations team members to support inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and overall store success. The role reports to the Store Manager or designated store leadership team.

This Position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily store operations by completing inventory, fulfillment, and merchandise processing activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive, organize, stock, and replenish merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy and store readiness.
  • Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges while operating the cash register and following transaction procedures.
  • Fulfill online and in-store customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Assist customers by providing product information, answering questions, and delivering a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain an organized sales floor, backroom, and work areas according to company standards.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and team members to achieve operational goals and support overall store success.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and service standards while contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail, sales, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
