VENUE/PROPERTY INFO

Located at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, this role offers the opportunity to work in a professional sports and events venue. PNC Field is a 10,000-seat professional baseball stadium featuring a full-size ballpark, multiple concession areas, premium seating, suites, and event spaces. The venue hosts not only baseball games but is proud to host a range of other events throughout the year.

THE ROLE

Serve as a key part of the game-day team at PNC Field by providing a fast, friendly, and accurate point-of-sale service for fans purchasing merchandise during RailRiders events. This role focuses on efficiently processing transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining a balanced register, and delivering excellent guest service in a lively, high-volume sports environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner.
  • Process high-volume transactions quickly and accurately using POS systems.
  • Present merchandise to increase sale with add on items
  • Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or credits as needed.
  • Keep current on promotions and sales in store
  • Provide guests with information about merchandise, promotions, or venue policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations and surrounding areas.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assists with restocking, hanging, tagging, and general store upkeep.
  • Maintains store cleanliness, organization, and visual standards.
  • Support store lead and management with daily operational tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with stadium policies and guest safety regulations.
  • Work properly with team members and supervisors.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and security.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Previous customer service or guest services experience preferred.
  • Experience in live entertainment, sports, or hospitality settings is an asset.
  • Retail experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in fast-paced, dynamic, or stressful situations.
