Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer US and Canada (US&C) Leadership Team as the AI Enablement Leader. The US&C AI Enablement Leader will be accountable for converting existing AI investments into measurable business outcomes at scale. This role focuses on embedding approved AI capabilities into priority workflows, redesigning work processes, and driving sustained behavioral change to improve cycle time, quality, consistency, risk control, operating leverage, and the overall client experience.
This lead role will collaborate with the Regional Leadership Team and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and ensure the organization remains competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This role will be based in any major Mercer US office and requires a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days per week in the office.
We will count on you to:
  • Define and execute an AI adoption strategy and roadmap aligned with US&C priorities and the global program, covering short (6-12 months) and long-term goals
  • Segment users by role, workflow, risk tier, and AI readiness; define personas, priority use cases, and success metrics per segment to drive adoption penetration
  • Identify challenges to adoption and collaborate with the AI team to prioritize tool improvements
  • Increase consultant and operator productivity by delivering enablement at scale, including role-based learning journeys, manager toolkits, office hours/coaching, and a champions network in partnership with Learning and Communications Teams
  • Reduce workflow cycle time by embedding AI into day-to-day execution through playbooks, templates, and prompt patterns
  • Establish KPI measurement for adoption, engagement, value, and risk; publish dashboards and run test-learn-scale cycles for continuous improvement
  • Improve service quality and consistency to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Lead stakeholders and change management as the single accountable owner for AI enablement, quality assurance, and adoption sophistication, coordinating across functional leaders, tool/product owners, IT, and global counterparts
  • Ensure responsible AI usage by incorporating governance, policy, privacy, and compliance requirements into training, communications, and playbooks
  • Scale AI adoption by packaging a repeatable adoption "kit" including personas, content, playbooks, dashboards, and governance for expansion across US&C

What you need to have:
  • 12+ years leading change management, digital adoption, enablement, or transformation programs
  • Proven track record driving enterprise tool/platform adoption with measurable utilization outcomes
  • Strong program management skills including roadmaps, metrics, and stakeholder governance
  • Ability to translate AI capabilities into role-based workflows, practical playbooks, and training content
  • Data literacy to define adoption and value metrics and interpret usage/telemetry to drive actions
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

What makes you stand out:
  • Experience rolling out GenAI tools such as copilots, assistants, or enterprise chat in regulated or professional services environments
  • Background in operations or shared services
  • Familiarity with learning design, adoption platforms, and digital analytics/event tracking
  • Experience building champions networks and manager-led enablement programs

Why join our team:
  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients, and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
