Network Engineer Location: Onsite, American Fork, UT

The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure while providing technical support to end users across multiple business locations. This role combines network administration, infrastructure support, cybersecurity awareness, and Help Desk responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, customer service, and continuous learning. They will assist with network projects, monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues, provision equipment, and support users with hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and access-related issues. Essential Functions Include
  • Assist with the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity services.
  • Support network equipment including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
  • Troubleshoot network, wireless, VPN, and connectivity issues.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools.
  • Assist with network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.

Qualifications include

  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or A+ certifications is a plus.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing, and switching fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with wireless networking technologies.
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 and macOS environments.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and identity management.
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and workstation deployment.

Work Schedule
