A web designer and content writer; preferably experienced in Photoshop, JADE, LESS CSS, AngularJS templates, and iOS Storyboarding; comfortable with Git versioning, command line tools, and Google Docs; disciplined design language construction; strong writing skills.

Your Role:

At Savory, your team embodies our public persona---the quirky, whimsical, yet refined tone of our social media interaction, marketing communication (digital and physical), and various portal content---through a mastery of structured layout, imagery, color, font, content, and code design. You understand the complementary roles of aesthetic look-and-feel and simple, elegant code structure. You’re articulate, succinct, yet prone to playfully arcane pop culture references, and you have command of sentence structure, syntax, and grammar. With input and direction from our culinary team, you collaborate with sales and marketing team members to craft brand messaging and work with developers to render that message into products, marketing materials, and social media.

Requirements

Daily Responsibilities:

Maintain the collection of templates, text, and code that compose Savory’s content

Contribute to and maintain the evolution of Savory’s design language

Participate in and then execute on strategic content development decisions

HTML template design and development

Design mockup in Photoshop

Stay up-to-date on all sales and marketing programs and deadlines

Collaborate with culinary team on menu presentation and consistency

Preferred Experience:

Experience with design in software: HTML/CSS, iOS storyboard UI, Android UI

Experience with Photoshop or the GIMP

Preferred Experience with HTML templating languages: JADE, EJS, AngularJS, Handlebars

Preferred Experience with web style languages: LESS, SASS

Experience with Git

Experience with software development deployment tools
