• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to promote healing and growth.
• Continuously monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met effectively and efficiently.
• Educate and support caregivers in managing behavioral health challenges, equipping them with strategies to enhance the family dynamic and improve outcomes.
• Proactively identify and address maladaptive behaviors that may hinder recovery, integrating family dynamics and individual strengths into therapy.
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately and regularly, adhering to confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay updated on new therapeutic techniques and industry standards.

As a mental health counselor at Clark Mental Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your role will involve addressing various issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma, among others. This array of cases requires a counselor who can adapt their approach to each individual’s unique experiences and treatment needs.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is essential, with a Master's degree preferred.
• Must hold valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• In-depth knowledge of the effects of prescribed medications is advantageous for comprehensive client care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
