Mental Health Monitor (MHM)

Location

Phoenix, Arizona

Job Type

Full-Time

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and observant individuals to join our team as Mental Health Monitors (MHM) in Phoenix, Arizona. The Mental Health Monitor plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and well-being of individuals receiving behavioral health services by providing continuous observation, documentation, and support in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Current First Aid Certification required (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Current Tuberculosis (TB) Test required
  • Ability to pass all facility-required screenings and onboarding requirements
  • Strong observation and documentation skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous monitoring and observation of patients as assigned
  • Document patient behaviors, activities, and observations accurately and timely
  • Report unusual behaviors, safety concerns, or changes in patient condition to clinical staff immediately
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, behavioral health, and security personnel
  • Respond appropriately during emergencies and crisis situations
