We are seeking a Sr. Director, Digital Twin Platform & Solutions to define, build, and scale PepsiCo's enterprise Digital Twin Platform as a Product-a scalable, modular, high-fidelity ecosystem that accelerates Digital Twin adoption across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution centers globally.

This role is accountable for the platform's product vision, architecture, engineering delivery, lifecycle governance, and operational excellence, enabling repeatable deployment of Engineering Twins and Operational Twins with integrated data, vision, simulation, and AI/ML. The leader will orchestrate a multi-stack technology ecosystem including Siemens (Digital Twin Composer, Teamcenter), Mendix, and NVIDIA Omniverse on AWS, integrating seamlessly with internal capabilities such as PepSense, PepVision, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Platform as a Product (Product Vision, Roadmap, Adoption):

  • Own the Digital Twin Platform product vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model, ensuring reusable, scalable capabilities for global deployment.
  • Define and manage the platform service catalog, onboarding journeys, enablement, and adoption KPIs (e.g., time-to-first-twin, reuse rate, active sites/users).
  • Build an intuitive, modern UX and developer experience that enables self-service feature development for power users and engineers.
  • Establish product operations feedback loops to continuously improve platform usability, performance, and business impact.

Multi-Stack Architecture & Platform Engineering:

  • Define the platform's multi-stack architecture, including Siemens engineering/lifecycle stack, Mendix rapid app development, and NVIDIA Omniverse for immersive 3D and simulation.
  • Deliver core shared services across data ingestion, model execution, simulation orchestration, APIs/connectors, visualization, and telemetry integration.
  • Enable seamless integration with internal and enterprise systems including PepSense, PepVision, ERP, MES, WMS, SCADA/OT, and IoT/edge platforms.
  • Ensure platform architecture is modular, composable, and technology-agnostic, enabling component swaps and future capability expansion.

Edge-to-Cloud Enablement (Hybrid, Real-Time, Scalable Compute):

  • Lead design and deployment of a secure edge-to-cloud architecture supporting real-time, latency-sensitive decisioning at the edge and scalable optimization/simulation in the cloud.
  • Establish hybrid patterns for model execution, telemetry processing, and long-term analytics to balance cost, performance, and resiliency.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Site IT/OT teams to standardize deployment patterns and site onboarding.

Advanced Twin, Simulation, Vision, and AI/ML Enablement:

  • Enable high-fidelity capabilities including 3D visualization, material flow, and discrete event simulation across plants, warehouses, and DCs.
  • Support digital twin patterns including engineering twins, operational twins, and telemetry-driven twins, integrating physics-based and data-driven models.
  • Enable AI/ML predictive and prescriptive insights and vision-based analytics for quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring these capabilities can be scaled as reusable modules.

Product Lifecycle & Performance Management:

  • Establish lifecycle management for twins and models (versioning, validation, promotion, retirement) with governance and standards.
  • Implement platform performance tracking for adoption, accuracy, reliability, and business impact; publish executive dashboards and actionable insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement through disciplined release management, user feedback loops, and platform health metrics.

Ecosystem Orchestration & Vendor Leadership:

  • Lead strategic partnerships and hold providers accountable across AWS, Siemens, NVIDIA, and GSIs through governance cadences, roadmap alignment, and measurable delivery outcomes.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and integrate emerging technologies to expand platform capability while maintaining standardization and architectural integrity.
  • Partner with Procurement/Legal to support commercial discipline, performance management, and delivery accountability.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $178,500 - $362,300.
