San Marcos Academy (SMA), located in San Marcos, one of the fastest growing regions in Texas, is a fully accredited private Christian school for students in PreK 3 through 12th grade, with a boarding program for students in grades 6-12. San Marcos Academy invites applications for a Night Proctor for Residence Hall.  This is an excellent position for men or women seeking to work in a Christian environment that will allow for professional and spiritual growth.  The position involves working with 6th-12th grade boys and girls through the night time hours.  The shift is Friday-Sunday from 11:00pm-6:00am.

 
Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a role model in actions, language, and dress
  • Monitoring and provide support for students
  • Responding to any need that arises
  • Some clerical work
  • Making sure that students get up when scheduled
  • Responsible for documenting any incidents that occur during the shift
  • Communicating events of the shift to relief
  • Provide support for dormitory supervisors
  • Monitor and provide support for students

Compensation: $13.00/hr. On campus housing and other amenities negotiable.

 
Job Perks: Shifts are not assigned during Thanksgiving week, Christmas Break, and Spring Break.

  •  A Christian testimony
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Experience working with youth
  • Ability to supervise a diverse group of young people
  • High standard of behavior and moral conduct
