Bayshore  is recruiting for a Memory Care Activity Aide candidate to become a part of our team!

Providing our residents with fun and entertaining engaging activities is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at the facility. As an activity aide for our memory care, your primary role is to engage individuals with memory impairments in meaningful and stimulating activities that promote cognitive function, physical health, socialization, and emotional well-being.

As an activity aide, you will work closely with the residents leading hourly programs for individuals and groups, along with transporting and assisting residents to and from activities. The activity aide supports and assists the Activities Director in all necessary programming.

Job Requirements of Activity Aide:

YOU HAVE:

- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Must enjoy taking care of others and be a team player

- Prefer at least one-year prior experience working with elders or in a Memory Care setting

- Motivation to get tasks completed timely and efficiently

- Oral and Written English Communication Skills

- A teamwork attitude

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience working in activities preferred

- Good Computer Skills and/or willingness to learn

- A caring demeanor and positive attitude

- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational abilities

- Prior Nursing Home Experience is a plus
