Job description

Our client is a well-established international firm specializing in water and membrane solutions. The Western RSM provides ongoing daily support to the customer base. This position is the main customer interface, especially for all commercial items such as the acquisition of new distributors / OEMs / integrators, supporting existing partners, and developing new markets and applications.

The RSM supports the definition and the implementation of the required business strategies and maintains profitable business relationships focused on maximizing opportunities and funnel for the West Coast. This is a remote work position, and candidates should be located in CA or TX. Responsibilities for this position include: The territory of responsibility is: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North & South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington.

Supporting the business in strategy execution and implementing the regional growth plan (preparing a strategic sales plan focused on target accounts and markets, supporting order analysis, reviewing contracts, preparing and maintaining relevant documentation). Providing ongoing technical support and ensuring high-quality customer service (following up on orders, customer visits, preparing and conducting customer presentations). Serving as a liaison between the customer and our client's departments, understanding customer needs.

Preparing price analyses and operational sales planning. Preparing and conducting price negotiations for new projects and customers. Supporting the business with market research and industry intelligence.

Identifying and developing new customers for driving growth. Accelerating new channel partner (distributor, OEM, integrator) relationships. Key performance indicators and key result areas include: Achieving annual bookings and revenue targets.

Establishing new channel partners for driving funnel growth and increasing market coverage. Customer and channel partner satisfaction. Rapid response to internal and external needs.

Working with field associates and company leadership to develop growth strategies that align with the division priorities and innovation goals. Being responsible for accelerating sales through negotiations of multi-year partnerships and/or strategic alliance agreements with key global, national, and strategic accounts. Working with partners in the value chain to develop relationships and sales (i.e.

general construction firms, engineering firms, etc.) Developing, implementing, and managing sales and promotional programs for markets across the USA. Partnering with the field team to deliver on customer contractual commitments. Pursuing highly-visible, progressive, and profitable market-leading enterprise accounts.

Identifying other product verticals to grow the company's share in the data center market. Executing effective presentations, communications, and executive summaries that communicate key deliverables to internal teams and senior leadership, including business plan execution, sales pipeline management, and market strategy. Qualifications for this position include: University degree or equivalent education in the field of Engineering At least 3 years of relevant business experience in sales and/or business development in water treatment and/or membrane filtration Ability to demonstrate successful territory growth Customer driven, organization and coordination skills, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.

Ability to travel approximately ~30-35% (may vary) Conflict management, strong communication skills. Basic system experience (MS Office, Excel, Sales Force, SAP, etc.) The base salary for this position is $115,000 - $150,000, with commissions and full company benefits.
