Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of unbroken Cath Lab experience.

Required Credentials: - Dysrhythmia exam required.

Preferred Credentials: - Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: - Functions independently as scrub nurse and circulator. - Performs TAVR, hemodynamic monitoring, transvenous/temporary pacing, conscious sedation, and insertion/management of IABP, chest tubes, and Impella. - Uses cardiac drips and Medtronic-heavy devices and supplies. - Uses McKesson Hemodynamics, Penumbra, IVUS, IFR, OCT, CSI, ROTA, Shockwave, Philips X-ray system, Boston Scientific mapping system, and Farapulse. - Adult and geriatric patient population. - 4-person team with Lab RNs and Rad Techs; may also utilize anesthesia staff for certain procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Thursday schedule. - On-call shifts vary at about 21 days for a 6-week period; on-call hours are 1730-0700 Monday-Thursday and Friday 0700-Monday 0700 on weekends, self-scheduled to fill gaps where needed; holiday schedule may differ. - Must be able to respond to STEMI call backs in less than 30 minutes.

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
