Internal Medicine opening in Cedar Rapids, IA
- 1.5 hours from Des Moines Job Description:
- Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well known clinic to the community and neighborhood it resides within

- Onsite X-ray (imaging services), Lab (Medlabs), and outpatient physical and occupational therapy.
- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

- Clinic utilizes same Electronic Medical Record as the hospital; EPIC
- Recognizes the need for a quality work/life balance Responsibilities:
- Average 20-25 patients per day - schedule is flexible; No nights or weekends
- 36 Patient contact hours weekly
- No inpatient call coverage - Hospitalist Program is fully utilized
- Outpatient call is shared; Triaged first through the MyNurse call system - very light
- Specialty Skills: minor procedures (i.e.: skin excisions, joint injections, lacerations) Qualifications:
- Board certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Hold an unrestricted license
- Ability to work as a team member
- US Citizen or H1B
