Position: Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse
Location: Newark, DE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours only. Shifts fall between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts (examples include 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM). No nights, weekends, or overtime.
Compensation: $79,040 annually
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing (or Compact State license)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Pre-Op and/or PACU
2+ years of PACU experience preferred
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide high-quality nursing care for patients before and after surgical procedures
Monitor and assess patients during recovery, ensuring safe transitions through each phase of care
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Utilize strong clinical judgment to respond effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations while maintaining patient safety and comfort
