As we continue to grow and expand, we are hiring Diesel and Alignment Technicians at Blaine Brothers TruckAline. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has mechanical aptitude (experience as a truck mechanic preferred), and has a strong work ethic.

SCHEDULES: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift, 3pm-12am

Essential duties include:·

Performs routine servicing and repairing of diesel trucks or trailers.

·Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.

·Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.

·Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.

·Wheel end, frame repair, tag axels, suspension, brake along with general repairs 

·Provide after-sale services, such as component installation

·Inspect the overall condition of Truck and Trailer to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.

·Compile inspection reports detailing their findings

·Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.

·Ensure the final work product meets quality standards

·Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
 

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude (prior experience as a technician is a plus, but we will train!)

• Welding experience a plus for trailer technicians

• Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
