Facility Overview

This facility is an accredited healthcare provider known for its exceptional services, including being Atrial Fibrillation Certified and the first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. It also holds designation as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and is recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The campus features an acute care hospital with all private rooms, a mental health facility, and a comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital.

Unit: Cath Lab

General Information
  • Unit Capacity: 4 cath lab rooms and a holding area
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Staffing:
    • 2 CV analysts
    • 10 Registered Nurses (RNs)
    • 6 Radiologic Technologists (RTs)
  • Equipment: GE imaging
  • Documentation System: Merge Hemodynamics, Meditech EMR
  • Scheduling: 4-10 hour shifts, on-call shifts required, including one weekend per month
  • Floating Policy: Not required
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set
  • Required: Cath Lab experience, ability to circulate
  • Advanced Skills:
    • Experience with sedation
    • Atherectomy and IVUS experience preferred
    • Thrombectomy experience is a plus
    • RCIS certification is a plus
    • Scrubbing and monitoring skills are welcome but not mandatory

  • Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
  • Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
  • Coronary Interventions
  • Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) insertion
  • Electrophysiology (EP) studies with ablation
  • Watchman procedure
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
  • PFO closure
Certifications Required
  • State licensure
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant catheterization laboratory experience is required.
