Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately processing, packing, and shipping medication orders in a timely manner. This role involves verifying medication details, addresses, and ensuring all shipments are prepared according to company standards. The clerk also manages inventory, organizes storage areas, and supports the pharmacy in maintaining necessary supplies.

Job Activities and Responsibilities:โ€ฏThe responsibilities listed below are subject to change.

  • Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times
  • Verify addresses and medications to ensure accuracy
  • Organize, pack, and ship medications to meet scheduled pick-up times
  • Order and manage supplies necessary for pharmacy operations
  • Stock and organize storage areas efficiently
  • Maintain and restock inventory as needed
  • Transfer large cases of ice from storage to shipping area
  • Work under the supervision of a pharmacist and adhere to role restrictions (no performing duties of pharmacists or technicians)
  • Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Experience in a shipping role
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
