We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for The Barclay at Boynton Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

  • Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress. 
  • Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations. 
  • Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records. 
  • Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team. 
  • Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy. 
Requirements:
  • Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others 
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent 
  • Current Medication Technician License issued by the state
  • CPR/First Aid, preferred 
  • Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays 
  • Experience working with older adults preferred
