Position Summary

The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) is a key member of the care team responsible for supporting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

This role assists residents with medication administration, activities of daily living, and implementation of resident care plans while ensuring accurate documentation of services provided. The CMT helps ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Administer medications according to physician orders and community protocols

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, and mobility

Monitor residents and report changes in condition or behavior

Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care

Support implementation of individualized resident care plans

Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life

Work collaboratively with caregivers, nurses, and leadership to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required according to Maryland state regulations

Previous assisted living or senior care experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices
