Are you a compassionate and safety-conscious individual who enjoys helping others? We are seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to join our team at Sunlit Gardens. In this role, you will provide safe and courteous transportation for our residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and community outings. As a key member of our care team, you will contribute to the overall well-being and independence of the seniors we serve.
Responsibilities:
Transportation Services:
  • Safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, errands, and recreational outings in a timely manner.
  • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
  • Maintain daily transportation schedules and communicate any changes or delays to staff and residents.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating facility vehicles.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness as needed.

Resident Support & Interaction:
  • Provide a positive and respectful experience for all residents during transportation.
  • Communicate courteously with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation needs.
