Job description

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you'll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out work in green areas.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse, facilities and surroundings.
  • Wiring and general maintenance projects planned and executed and/or overseen.
  • Plan or assist with planning preventative maintenance programs.
  • Proper settings of machinery/equipment determined to ensure minimum loss.
  • Preventive maintenance conducted in a manner to ensure hazards and damage is eliminated.
  • Repairing, replacing, reassembling, adjusting, testing, etc. conducted as needed.
  • Active participation in equipment installation, fabrication, and/or facilities expansion/upgrade projects
  • Assistance with pulling wires or various electrical projects provided as needed.
  • Maintenance of heating/cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, wiring, etc., systems provided as needed.
  • Hand and precision tools operated and maintained.
  • Repair parts and supplies ordered as needed.
  • Internal resources and/or local vendors may be identified and coordinated with.
  • Miscellaneous repair and maintenance provided as needed (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, etc.)
  • Repair records or reports completed and maintained.
  • Cleanliness maintained.
  • Preventive maintenance records or reports completed and maintained.
  • Systems maintained to ensure hazards and equipment damage is eliminated.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Handyman Experience (carpentry, construction)
  • License to operate Heavy Machinery such as: Digger, Aerial Lift, Scissor Lift
  • Availability to work all shifts, weekends and Holidays.
  • Knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations
  • Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings
  • Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed
