Supply Chain & Inventory Manager – Healthcare Operations

Location: Longview, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

Hospitality Health ER is seeking a Supply Chain and Inventory Manager to lead warehouse and medical supply operations supporting multiple emergency room locations.

This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, supply availability, and ownership of the ordering process across the organization. The position oversees both warehouse operations and on-site medical supply functions, ensuring alignment between off-site inventory management and facility-level supply needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can quickly learn existing systems, step into operational responsibilities when needed, and build structure across a growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee warehouse and medical supply operations, ensuring alignment between off-site and facility-based inventory needs
  • Manage inventory across approximately 5,000 SKUs, maintaining accuracy and availability
  • Take ownership of ordering processes across all HHER locations
  • Learn and quickly become proficient in internal inventory management systems
  • Conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis
  • Establish and maintain par levels across multiple locations
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage supply chain relationships
  • Supervise and support both Warehouse and Med Supply teams
  • Step into operational roles as needed to support staffing and ensure continuity
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Maintain organization, compliance, and accountability across all inventory operations
What Success Looks Like
  • Fully trained on both Warehouse and Med Supply operations within 90 days
  • Proficient in inventory management system within 30 days
  • Successfully transitions ownership of ordering processes
  • Improves inventory accuracy and operational consistency
  • Establishes structure and accountability across both departments
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain management
  • Experience overseeing inventory systems and ordering processes
  • Proven ability to manage large SKU volumes and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operations
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems and processes
  • Experience in healthcare, medical supply, or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
