Job Title: QA Lead -Healthcare/EHR experience (15 plus years exp )

Location: Austin,TX (Onsite-Texas local candidates ONLY))

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
  • Knowledge of SaaS product testing, software usability concepts, and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in managing testing processes with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
  • Ability to generate manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
  • Experience in writing/testing scripts in electronic medical records practice management, clinical, interface, and billing workflows within an EHR application.
  • Strong QA automation testing and scripting experience using UFT (Unified Functional Testing tool).
  • Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing and database validation.
  • Experience working on different types of testing, including unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, stress, and load/performance.
  • Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. Effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify potential issues, define testing scope, and ensure smooth implementation of EHR systems.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities and data collection efforts.
  • Experience using automated testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, ALM, UFT, etc.
  • Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios and user roles within the EHR system.
  • Experience in creating metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
  • Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on EHR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing, and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in conducting API testing and automation.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HL7 FHIR.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of load/performance testing.
  • Experience working in a state agency environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Validate workflows across EHR modules including clinical, billing, and administrative processes.
  • Perform data validation and backend testing using complex SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and solution quality.
  • Document test results and report defects using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor and track quality metrics and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Mentor and support QA team members, promoting best practices in EHR testing and automation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and report progress.
