Job description

NetSuite Systems Administrator

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Administrator to serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for our NetSuite environment. This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for maintaining, configuring, optimizing, and enhancing NetSuite to meet the evolving needs of the Finance organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep NetSuite expertise, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to independently design and implement system improvements that drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, & optimize the NetSuite ERP platform.
  • Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) Module is highly desirable.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand Company requirements and lead NetSuite performance initiative solutions.
  • Configure, manage, and customize NetSuite modules, workflows, forms, dashboards, saved searches, and reports.
  • Design, develop, and implement system enhancements to improve Finance processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable NetSuite configurations and best practices.
  • Create and maintain custom fields, records, scripts, workflows, and integrations as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand Company requirements and lead NetSuite performance initiative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and documentation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Work with third-party vendors and consultants when required.
  • Maintain data integrity and support audit, compliance, and internal control requirements.
  • Create and maintain clear user documentation, quick guides, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Stay current on NetSuite releases and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new functionality.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of NetSuite ERP configuration and administration.
  • Working knowledge of SuiteScript development, including the ability to create and modify scripts, workflows, and customizations.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and iPaaS platforms, particularly Workato.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM and NetSuite-Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce billing and integrating SF Billing into NetSuite, Tableau/Snowflake reporting a strong plus.
  • Strong experience with: SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, Financial Reporting, Dashboards and KPIs, Roles and Permissions, SuiteAnalytics, CSV Imports and Data Management.
  • Experience supporting core Finance functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Financial Close.
  • Ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and independently deliver solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification
  • Experience with SuiteScript and NetSuite integrations
  • Experience supporting publicly traded or high-growth organizations
  • Background in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, or procurement systems integrations
