Essential Duties Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and One Health Ohio support staff.
  • Responsible for coordination and delegation of office and nursing staff to ensure organized and efficient workflow.
  • Responsible for maintaining availability for staff communication, including supervisor, as per chain of command.
  • Responsible for training new and existing employees of office protocol.
  • Responsible for being a resource to office and nursing staff.
  • Responsible for organization of patient visit paperwork.
  • Responsible for getting prior authorizations for medications.
  • Responsible for daily vaccine reporting, weekly missed immunization reporting, and monthly distribution of vaccine accountabilities, hand washing log, and data logger information.
  • Responsible for quarterly distribution of controlled script logs.
  • Responsible for monthly quality control checks (INR and Strep tests).
  • Responsible for ensuring Ward Clerk has arranged necessary provider items (i.e., PAP, outside lab results, referral consultation notes, etc.).
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment per OSHA guidelines and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Responsible for monitoring and ordering janitorial, office, and medical supplies for patient care.
  • Responsible for monitoring medication supply expiration dates.
  • Responsible for monitoring, ordering, and proper storage of O2.
  • Responsible for distribution and execution of daily huddle, both provider and personal.
  • All other LPN or MA duties as described in the LPN and MA job descriptions

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience (leadership experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team building skills
  • BLS CPR certification required
