### Exciting Opportunity for Utilization Review RN **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic team committed to enhancing patient care and safety! - Monday - Friday schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM with callback on weekends/holidays. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure patients receive appropriate care by: - Verifying medical necessity. - Confirming correct patient status. - Monitoring ongoing need for services. - Support: - Accurate clinical documentation for proper reimbursement. - Coordination with providers and care teams on discharge planning and transitions. - Manage resource use: - Control costs and reduce unnecessary length of stay. - Communicate with payers to prevent denials. - Ensure compliance with: - CMS and Joint Commission requirements. - Contribute to reporting and quality improvement efforts. - Serve as a liaison: - Align patient care with quality standards and reimbursement rules. **Necessary Qualifications:** - Education: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. - License/Certification: - Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) from any state or territory in the USA. - Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) throughout employment. - Experience: - Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience performing direct patient care. - At least 2 years in an Inpatient setting (medical-surgical unit, PACU, or higher acuity unit). - Knowledge of case management, purchased referred care, and utilization review processes. - Familiarity with electronic health record systems. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
