XRay Tech Job Description / Responsibilities:
  • Perform Medical Diagnostic Imaging: Take radiologic films that provide high-quality images to aid physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Patient Preparation & Safety: Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, following all radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all radiology equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
  • Documentation: Ensure prompt and accurate submission of images and documents to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) or similar system with correct patient information and imaging markers.

  • Certification:
    • Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required
