An established and growing concrete solutions organization is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join its operations team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting cost-effective purchasing strategies. Position Summary

The Purchasing Specialist will manage the procurement process from supplier sourcing through purchase order execution and delivery. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen vendor partnerships. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to meet quality, pricing, and delivery expectations
  • Solicit quotes and negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders through the company's ERP system
