Join our team as a Packer Inspector! This is an hourly position with 2nd and 3rd shift availability. Packer Inspectors are responsible for packing finished product into cartons and to assure that the product meets the quality standards.

Major Areas of Responsibility Include:

  • Follow safety guidelines, Company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Complete and provide to supervisor all required daily production reports
  • Inspect bottles in accordance with DPG policy and the PQS form. Products are stack or tumble packed, and inspected based upon customer specifications and requirements.
  • Remove full cartons from packing stand or from tumble pack area, then close the carton in accordance with DPG procedure and PQS sheet.
  • Grind all clean scrap and rejected bottles generated by the machines for which they are responsible.

Job Requirements:

  • Mathematical skills to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to read effectively while performing job duties
  • Vision must be correctable to ’20-20’; Must be able to perceive and accurately identify differences in colors and shadings. 
  • Required to walk and stand for the majority of the job.
  • Must have good motor skills and be able to continuously lift 5lbs; must be able to occasionally lift and carry 55 lbs.

We provide in house training.  You supply the learning attitude, we’ll show you how to be successful at DPG.
