Job description

Do you have a passion for cardiology? If so, we have the role for you! We are looking for a compassionate & energetic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Non-Invasive Cardiology team. In this role, our APRN will provide prep/recovery care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Our APPs manage all pre-op and post-op care, including stress tests and tilt table tests. This role also offers potential to conduct general cardiology consults. 

Full-time: 4 x 10s: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7a-5p, No call, no holidays, 4 Saturdays a year (8a-4p) to cover our cardiology service with the on-call cardiologist

Qualifications:

  • Valid license as an Advanced Practitioner Provider, either APRN or PA, in CT.
  • ACLS certification required. 
  • Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Experience in cardiology or critical care highly preferred.
