Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or MLS to perform laboratory testing and procedures while ensuring accurate, timely, and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological laboratory testing.
  • Conduct testing according to laboratory policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide laboratory services for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Perform phlebotomy - required.
  • Accurately document and report laboratory results.
  • Follow laboratory safety, quality control, and infection-control procedures.
  • Use proper body mechanics and safely lift up to 50 lbs. or more when required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of laboratory experience.
  • Degree/education in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related Biological Science.
  • ASCP certification as MLT or MT/MLS.
  • BLS/BCLS certification.
  • Phlebotomy experience - Must Have.
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication, reading, and documentation skills.
  • Meditech experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work rotating weekends and occasional on-call hours.
Schedule & Compensation
  • $80.00/hr All-Inclusive
  • 40 guaranteed hours/week
  • Primarily day shift
  • Rotating weekends
  • Holiday coverage required
  • On-call: $2.50/hr
  • Call-back: 1-hour minimum
  • Overtime after 40 hours/week
  • No 1099
