Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Technician OR Medical Technologist contributes to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients by the accurate performance and reporting of laboratory testing procedures on microbiology specimens and cultures. 

  • Permanent position.
  • Close to Nashville, TN.
  • TN state lab license is needed. 


QUALIFICATIONS:

MEDICAL TECHNICIAN-

  • Associate degree in Medical Technology or related coursework with successful completion of clinical rotation in medical laboratory
  • Certification  from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology, Med Lab Science or a related specialty. Tennessee State License Preferred, not Required.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST-

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Medical Technology or related course work with successful completion of clinical rotation in medical laboratory
  • Certification  from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology, Med Lab Science or a related specialty. Tennessee State License Preferred, not Required.
