Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with scrub experience in Cath Lab, interventional radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures for a 13-week assignment at an academic medical center in Ohio.

Details
  • Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an academic medical center
  • Procedures include interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and fluoroscopy-guided interventional procedures
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Call every fourth weekend and one day per week
  • Holiday coverage is on a call rotation basis
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
  • Completion of formal radiological technology training from an AMA-approved school
  • Active Ohio state radiologic technology license required if applicable
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Experience in Cath Lab scrubbing, interventional radiology procedures, and fluoroscopy
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and kneel frequently
  • Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20, including color vision when applicable
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
  • Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Perform fluoroscopy-guided Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures as a procedural/scrub technologist
  • Must be available to assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled
