Job description

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a driver who wants to join a family-oriented company, stable enough to be the only employer for the rest of their career!! Michigan Residence Only.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CDL-A required.

• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience required within the past 7 years.

• Ability to operate a manual transmission.

• Clean driving record.

• Must be able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical.

• Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record.

• Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service strongly preferred but is NOT required.

• Stable employment history is a plus.

• Must have strong, excellent customer service and communications skills.

• The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined: This position sets up medical equipment for demonstration so driver must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated areas.

• Perform other reasonable requests as directed by management.

* Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver has adequate experience and to verify driving history with former employers.

Job Duties:

• Operates tractor/trailer equipment in accordance with all DOT and OSHA regulations to transport trailer safely and legally from and to each destination.

• Ensure arrival at each destination within a timely manner and ensure that trailer, and its contents are secured and arrive at the destination undamaged and in original condition.

• Maintains driver daily logs, trip reports, and other documents as required.

• Performs full pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Communicates any issues and/or damage to tractor, trailer, or product to management immediately.

• Drivers will arrive on time and set trailer up for each session. The driver will stay with the trailer during the session to aid and maintain the equipment.

• Order such items as hand soap, sanitizer, gloves, etc., as needed.

• Deliver White Glove Service.

• This position is out on the road 46 - 47 weeks per year

• Routes may include: All 48 states and parts of Canada.

• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Compensation/Safety Bonus:

• $31.75 per hour

• Quarterly Safety Bonus eligible.

• Paid every week via direct deposit.

• Layover pay.

• Fly home on during weekend breaks, apx 8 to 10 times per year
